Get to Know About the Trainers!
Hi, We're Zack and Amy Kiser!
Our whole story begins with training dogs! We met at our Mondioring Club– a place where we both dedicated our time and energy to competitive dog training. From that day forward, we spent countless hours working together to train our dogs and grow in the craft. Throughout the years of commitment to our sport and club, our friendship grew as we bonded over our passion for training dogs at a high level. We got engaged at Del Mar Dog Beach while playing with our competition dogs and the rest is history! We now own and run American Dog Pros together and have a pack of accomplished pups of our own! Together, we continue to help dogs and their owners communicate and understand each other better. We love showing owners and their dogs how work together to achieve their goals as a team, just as we do in our business and competitive outlets! Reach out to learn more about the trainers behind American Dog Pros.
More About the Trainer; Zack Kiser
Zack comes from a family of talented dog trainers and as a result began his journey in dog training as a child.
His introduction to dog training began with working dogs. When they weren’t helping dog owners train their beloved pets, Zacks father and uncle would spend their time training competitive protection dogs, as well as police and military K9’s. Zack has continued this work in his life, placing dogs on police forces and coaching teams of competitive dog trainers.
Zack is an avid dog sport competitor, having won the level 1 USMRA National Championship in 2016 and later placing second in the World Championship of Mondioring in Battice, Belgium!
Zack aided in the wins of Amy and Goose at level 2, and Jan and Quest at Level 3 in the 2023 USMRA National Championship. Both teams put on beautiful performances at the 2023 FCI World Championship in Portugal with Zacks assistance. At the 2024 Nationals he helped put Claire and Edit in first place at level 1 and Sparky and Archie in first place at level 2. These teammates and Amy and Goose will compete at the 2024 FCI World Championship in Greece.
As a decoy Zack made the Final Cut at the 2024 Super Selection earning 12th place out of many of the most skilled decoys in the world. He showed tremendous skill while decoying the 2024 USMRA National Championship and is only the second American born Decoy to receive the honor of Decoying the FMBB World Championship!
Zack and his dog, Scrappy, achieved the prestigious dog training title – Mondioring 3 – with a high score of 352/400, with several passing scores following that. As Zacks partner, it only makes sense that Scrappy is the face of our company and the model for our logo

Why Do We Train?

Safety!
With so many potential dangers in our world, it is our responsibility as pet owners to have our pets reliably trained so we can safely avoid and handle those situations!
Connection!
Training gives us a level of mutual understanding with our pets that allows us to have an enhanced relationship! Training should be fun for our pets and gives them the mental stimulation they require to meet their biological demands!
